As outlined in The Family Plan: Why? post, recurring maintenance plans such as our Family Plan are an important part of the business.  Setting them up correctly is important also.  Here’s how:

  • OUTDATED as of 03/06/2026. 
  • The Family Plan is a regular pricebook item.  Select it there.
  • In the description section of the item, make a note about which visit you are on.  For example, Visit #1 of 2.
  • Under Customer Tags, select Family Plan Member.
  • Let the customer know that the Office will be in touch when the next visit is coming due.

Note also:

  • A maintenance visit should take no longer than 45-60 minutes.  
  • All maintenance visits should generate an average of $40 in repairs and/or upgrades.
